We learn new craft skills and develop existing ones. Some examples are cardmaking (using iris folding, rubber stamping, quilling, pergamano, etc.), feltmaking, sewing crafts, silk painting, pebble painting …
There is a charge of £1 towards the cost of materials.
On the first Wednesday of every month, anyone over the age of 50 can gather in an informal and friendly atmosphere. During the hour for which it runs, there are several activities including board games, quizzes, baking and crafts. Refreshments are served, and the time is concluded with a ‘Thought for the Day’.
Admission is free.
